Objectives:

1. Identify and analyze primary contributors to catheter associated bloodstream infection(CASBI).

2. Gain knowledge and discuss evidence pertaining to CASBI prevention.

3.Identify standards, guidelines, and strategies that can be appropriately applied to respective patient populations for prevention of CABSI.

4. Discuss the importance of caregiver compliance pertaining to manufacturer product information: FAQS, indications for use, instructions for use, safety, information and product description.
