It shouldn't take a pandemic....

Posted over 5 years ago by Karen Cliszis

It shouldn't take a pandemic for people to realize that you are a hero.

A hero is the nurse who answers a patient's call for help.

A  hero is the nurse who comforts the patient and their family

A hero is the nurse who teaches a patient and those who will care for them

A hero is the nurse who sets realistic plans of care and takes action

A hero is the nurse who sacrifices time in their personal life to work a holiday,a weekend or to work past their assigned shift to meet the needs of people

A hero is the nurse who sacrifices their strength both physically and emotionally to help a patient

A hero is the "family "and "go to person in the neighborhood" who is the first responder to emergencies and questions.

YOU HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A HERO!

THANK YOU TO ALL THE REGISTERED NURSES WHO  GIVE OF THEMSELVES .

THANK YOU FOR BEING A NURSE.

With the utmost respect and the highest regard for knowing all of you,

Karen
